Islamorada in the Florida Keys is a short drive down the island chain from Miami and mainland Florida. This vacation paradise is situated between the saltwater wilderness of Everglades National Park in one direction and North America's only coral barrier reef and the deep blue waters of the Florida Straits in the other. Islamorada is known as the "Sportfishing Capital of the World" and has many annual fishing tournaments. In addition to fishing, there are plenty of other activities including kayaking, jet skis, parasailing, boating, sunset cruises, shopping and great waterfront restaurants.
